The Smiling Moose Deli, a quirky innovative store, opened its doors in Edwards, Colo. on June 22, 2003. From the very beginning our purpose has been to provide superior food and unprecedented customer service… with a side of fun. We strive to reflect our mountain heritage of, “work hard, play hard and don’t take life too seriously”.
Incorporated in 1980, M&M Meat Shops Ltd. was established to provide the public's growing demand for high quality meat and specialty food items at reasonable prices. Today M&M Meat Shops is Canada's largest specialty frozen food chain. It is an economical and friendly alternative to conventional grocery store shopping. All M&M Meat Shops are franchised operations, with the exception of four corporate training stores.
The first Subs Plus opened in 1985, and soon we were setting new standards for other subs and pastry shops to follow. Franchising was the next natural step. When we analyzed our concept, we were sure we could share our know-how with our franchisees. Again, success was even better than expected. Expansion continues in Ontario, with long-term plans to franchise throughout Canada and the United States.
